Consultation booking: An in-person consultation requires a £30 booking deposit. The deposit is fully redeemable against treatment and refundable after you attend if you decide not to proceed. Please give at least 72 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule. A no-show loses the £30 deposit and rebooking requires a new £30 deposit. Late arrival may shorten the appointment.

What affects a laser-hair-removal plan
Laser hair removal normally requires a course because hairs are treated most effectively at particular stages of the growth cycle. Hair colour and thickness, skin tone, treatment area, recent sun exposure and relevant medication all affect planning, and maintenance may be needed over time.
A patch test and consultation help confirm suitability and settings. See Laser Hair Removal London for clinic-specific treatment information and current prices.
Use this guide hub to plan the whole course, not just the first session
Laser hair removal is a course-based treatment because hairs grow in cycles. A useful plan covers the treatment area, hair and skin characteristics, session spacing, expected reduction, aftercare and how progress will be reviewed. The main Laser Hair Removal London page contains the clinic's current service and price information.
Common planning questions
- Which areas are suitable and which price category applies?
- How should shaving, sun exposure and skincare be managed around appointments?
- Could medication or a change in health affect suitability?
- What does long-term hair reduction mean for this area?
- When should maintenance be considered, if needed?
For practical care between appointments, see the laser-hair-removal aftercare guide.
Why a patch test and consultation matter
Laser settings need to be selected around skin tone, hair characteristics and the treatment area. Recent tanning, active irritation and some medicines can change suitability, so the plan should be reviewed when circumstances change rather than assuming every appointment is identical.
What to expect over a course
Early sessions often reduce the density and speed of regrowth, while later appointments target hairs that enter an appropriate growth phase. The exact number of sessions varies, and maintenance can be useful for some people. Progress is better judged by changes in regrowth than by expecting the area to be completely hair-free after one or two visits.
Between appointments, follow the clinic's instructions on shaving, sun exposure, heat and skincare. If the skin becomes irritated or you start a new medicine, tell the clinic before the next session.
Before booking, use the consultation to confirm the treatment area, medical history, medication, previous procedures, realistic result, number of sessions and the current price. For the clinic’s current service details, see the current treatment information.
Use the guides together
The treatment page explains the clinic service and prices, the aftercare page covers practical steps between appointments, and the long-term-reduction guides explain why a course is needed. Reading them together gives a more useful picture than relying on one short answer about how many sessions everybody needs.
Results are also area-specific. Hormonal areas can behave differently from lower legs or underarms, and maintenance needs can vary. The practitioner should explain what a realistic reduction looks like for the area being treated rather than promise the same outcome everywhere.
Keeping a simple record of treatment dates and how regrowth changes between appointments can also make the course easier to assess and helps the practitioner review whether the plan still fits the area.
