What is radio frequency skin tightening?

Radio frequency (RF) skin tightening is a non-surgical treatment that uses controlled RF energy to heat tissue beneath the skin. The aim is to support collagen remodelling and improve the appearance of skin firmness without surgery. Results vary between clients, and RF should not be presented as a surgical-facelift replacement.

3D Lipo London uses professional 3D-lipo technology for RF skin tightening. 3D Aesthetics, formerly 3D-lipo Ltd, lists the UltimatePro RF system as tripolar, 1 MHz and 50 W, with dedicated face/body probes and integrated vacuum. These are manufacturer specifications; the settings used for an individual client depend on consultation and suitability.

Current RF skin tightening prices

The prices below are taken directly from our current prices page. The standard RF price list is session-based rather than split into separate named body-area prices.

Consultation booking: An in-person consultation requires a £30 booking deposit. The deposit is fully redeemable against treatment and refundable after you attend if you decide not to proceed. Please give at least 72 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule. A no-show loses the £30 deposit and rebooking requires a new £30 deposit. Late arrival may shorten the appointment. Please see the current price list for the latest treatment menu.

What areas can be treated?

Our current price list does not publish separate standard RF prices for individual named areas. The area and treatment plan are therefore confirmed during consultation rather than assumed from generic industry information.

What results can you realistically expect?

Non-invasive RF is used for skin-firming and rejuvenation, but response varies. Research on RF skin tightening is positive overall while also showing substantial variation between devices, treatment parameters and study quality. We therefore avoid promising a fixed percentage improvement, a guaranteed number of sessions or a universal length of result.

These treatments are often grouped together online, but they are not the same. Standard non-invasive RF heats tissue using radiofrequency energy. HIFU uses focused ultrasound. Preparing for RF skin tightening

Tell the practitioner about your medical history, medication, previous procedures, implanted devices and any skin problem affecting the proposed treatment area. Suitability should be assessed before treatment. Do not stop prescribed medication unless the clinician who prescribed it tells you to do so.

Aftercare

Aftercare depends on the treatment area and individual response. Temporary warmth or redness can occur. Follow the practitioner’s instructions, avoid aggressive products or treatments on irritated skin, and contact the clinic if you develop an unexpected or persistent reaction.
