Fat freezing does it really work
Why fat freezing technology was invented
FAT FREEZING LONDON CLINIC
3D LIPO TREATMENT
3D Lipo London is delighted to announce that 3D-lipo, the revolutionary treatment that successfully targets fat by method of fat freezing – cryolipolysis and also cavitation, skin tightening by Radio Frequency, is now available. 3D-lipo is an amazing alternative to liposuction offering a powerful new dimension in non-surgical fat removal, the treatment of cellulite and skin tightening for both the face and body. The treatment is non-surgical and does not involve incisions; sensations vary and fat-reduction changes develop gradually rather than instantly.
Technology we offer

How to interpret fat-freezing results
Before-and-after photographs are most useful when they use similar posture, lighting, camera angle and timing. Individual results vary with treatment area, applicator placement, starting tissue thickness and the number of sessions, so one client’s result should not be treated as a guarantee.
Results normally develop gradually rather than immediately. See the main Fat Freezing London treatment page for suitability and treatment information, or our results timeline guide for what to expect after treatment.
How to judge fat-freezing before-and-after photographs
Our current fat-freezing system is the Sculpt Pro Quattro. Before-and-after photographs are most useful when the area, posture, lighting and camera angle are comparable. Results vary with the amount of treatable subcutaneous fat, applicator positioning, number of sessions, time since treatment and changes in body weight.
For area-specific information, see our guides to abdominal fat freezing, upper arms, love handles/flanks, inner thighs, back fat and double chin. Current prices are always taken from Prices page.

How to compare fat-freezing photographs fairly
Before-and-after photographs are most useful when the pose, lighting, camera distance and clothing are kept as similar as possible. Small changes in posture or waistband position can make an abdomen, flank or back look different even when the treatment result has not changed. For that reason, the clinic uses photographs as one part of the review rather than as a guarantee of a particular outcome.
It is also important to know which area was treated, how many applicators were used, how many sessions were completed and how long after treatment the second photograph was taken. A photograph without that context is much less informative.
Photos, measurements and the scale tell different stories
Fat freezing is a localised body-contouring treatment, not a weight-loss programme. A client can see a contour change without a large change on the scales, while body weight can also fluctuate for reasons unrelated to the treated area. Consistent tape measurements and photographs can therefore be more relevant than body weight alone.
See the results-timing guide and the main Fat Freezing London page for treatment planning and current options.
Why timing matters when viewing results
A photograph taken too soon after cryolipolysis may show temporary swelling or redness rather than the eventual contour. A fair comparison should use a follow-up point that allows the gradual process to develop. It should also make clear whether the result followed one session or a course.
What a before-and-after image cannot tell you
Photographs do not show medical history, applicator placement, treatment tolerance or whether the person was a good candidate in the first place. They are useful supporting evidence, but they should sit alongside consultation, measurements and realistic expectations. Individual results vary and another client should not expect to reproduce somebody else's photograph exactly.
Before booking, use the consultation to confirm the treatment area, medical history, medication, previous procedures, realistic result, number of sessions and the current price. For the clinic’s current service details, see the current treatment information.
Look for consistency rather than dramatic presentation
Useful result photographs do not need heavy editing, extreme poses or different lighting. A modest change shown consistently is more informative than a dramatic image where the conditions are unclear. Ask whether the photographs are from the clinic, which area was treated and whether the follow-up point is stated.
When a client has more than one area treated, each area should be judged separately because the applicator, tissue thickness and number of sessions may differ. A strong gallery therefore explains what was actually treated instead of implying that one photograph represents every type of fat-freezing result.
