Which areas do we treat with fat freezing?
Fat freezing is designed for localised, pinchable subcutaneous fat. At 3D Lipo London our fat-freezing treatment information covers the abdomen, double chin, upper arms, flanks/love handles, inner thighs and back fat. Suitability still depends on the shape and amount of tissue that can be safely captured by an applicator.
Abdomen / stomach
For suitable pinchable abdominal fat. It does not treat visceral fat deeper inside the abdomen.
Double chin
For suitable submental fat. Chin pricing is listed separately on our current price page.
Upper arms
For localised arm fat when fat, rather than mainly loose skin, is the concern.
Flanks / love handles
For localised pinchable fat at the sides of the waist.
Inner thighs
For suitable inner-thigh fat where the applicator can be positioned safely.
Back fat
For suitable back-fat folds that can be captured by the applicator.
What does fat freezing not treat?
Fat freezing is not a weight-loss treatment and does not reduce visceral fat around internal organs. It also does not directly tighten loose skin or treat cellulite. If skin laxity or cellulite is the main concern, another treatment such as RF skin tightening or cellulite treatment may be more relevant.
How are areas priced?
For fat freezing, our current price page uses applicator-based pricing rather than publishing a separate tariff for every body part. Do not assume that the name of an area automatically tells you how many applicators are required; that is assessed during consultation.
Consultation booking: An in-person consultation requires a £30 booking deposit. The deposit is fully redeemable against treatment and refundable after you attend if you decide not to proceed. Please give at least 72 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule. A no-show loses the £30 deposit and rebooking requires a new £30 deposit. Late arrival may shorten the appointment.
Suitability depends on more than the name of the body area
Two people can ask about the same area and need different plans. The practitioner has to assess whether there is enough suitable pinchable subcutaneous fat, whether the applicator can sit safely and evenly, and whether the concern is actually fat rather than loose skin, muscle tone or visceral fat.

Planning more than one area
When several areas are being considered, it is better to agree priorities and applicator requirements first rather than assume that every area should be treated in the same appointment. Current pricing is based on the listed applicator options and packages, and suitability is confirmed during consultation.
Not every pinchable area should automatically be treated
Applicator access, skin condition, previous surgery and the shape of the tissue all matter. If the practitioner cannot position the applicator safely or the concern is mainly skin laxity rather than fat, another option may be more appropriate. That is why an area list is a guide rather than a guarantee of suitability.

Can fat freezing treat belly fat?
It can be considered for suitable pinchable subcutaneous abdominal fat. It cannot treat visceral fat deeper inside the abdomen.
Can fat freezing tighten loose skin?
No. Cryolipolysis targets fat cells. If skin laxity is the main concern, RF skin tightening may be a more relevant discussion.
Can every area of body fat be frozen?
No. Applicator fit, tissue type, medical history and the manufacturer's intended use all matter. The practitioner should assess an area rather than treating any fat deposit simply because it is present.
