SculpSure vs Sculpt Pro Quattro Fat Freezing: What’s the Difference?
For current treatment details and booking information, see Body Contouring London.
Updated 20 September 2026
3D Lipo London does not offer SculpSure. The clinic uses the Sculpt Pro Quattro for fat freezing / cryolipolysis. Despite the similar names, SculpSure and Sculpt Pro Quattro are different systems: SculpSure uses laser heat for non-invasive lipolysis, while Sculpt Pro Quattro uses controlled cooling for cryolipolysis.
Consultation booking: A £30 booking deposit secures an in-person consultation. The deposit is fully redeemable against treatment and is refundable if you attend and decide not to proceed. Please give at least 72 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule. A no-show loses the £30 deposit and rebooking after a no-show requires a new £30 deposit. If you arrive late, the appointment may need to be shortened so later bookings are not delayed.
What SculpSure is
SculpSure is a branded, laser-based system from Cynosure. FDA 510(k) records describe it as a diode-laser system using 1060 nm optical energy for non-invasive lipolysis. That is a different mechanism from cryolipolysis, ultrasound cavitation, radio-frequency skin tightening or HIFEM muscle stimulation.

Why SculpSure and Sculpt Pro Quattro can be confused
The names sound similar, but they are not versions of the same machine. SculpSure is Cynosure’s laser-based body-contouring system. Sculpt Pro Quattro is the fat-freezing system used at 3D Lipo London. If you are specifically looking for the treatment provided by this clinic, see the fat freezing / cryolipolysis page.

Laser heat vs controlled cooling
SculpSure uses laser energy to heat tissue for non-invasive lipolysis. Cryolipolysis uses controlled cooling. The technologies therefore should not be described as identical or as though one result percentage from one branded device can automatically be applied to another system.
Why the clinic does not quote a SculpSure price
3D Lipo London does not provide SculpSure, so we do not publish a SculpSure treatment price. For treatments available at this clinic, the prices page is the authority for current prices, packages, treatment areas and durations.
How to choose a body-contouring route
Start with the goal. A localised fat concern, a skin-firmness concern and a muscle-toning goal are not the same. The Body Contouring London guide compares the clinic’s current treatments by goal, while Which Body Contouring Is Best? helps organise the decision without declaring a universal winner.
Important limitation
This article explains a third-party branded technology for comparison. It is not a claim that 3D Lipo London uses, sells, endorses or is affiliated with SculpSure or Cynosure.
SculpSure and cryolipolysis use different energy sources
SculpSure is associated with laser-based body contouring, while cryolipolysis uses controlled cooling. Although both may be discussed in the context of non-surgical fat reduction, the devices, treatment sensation, protocols and evidence base are not identical.
3D Lipo London does not offer SculpSure. The clinic's current fat-freezing service uses the British-made Sculpt Pro Quattro, described on the Fat Freezing London page.
How to compare two body-contouring technologies
Rather than asking which brand is “best” in isolation, compare the exact area, amount of suitable pinchable fat, treatment protocol, practitioner experience, likely number of sessions, temporary effects, follow-up and current price. A device comparison is only useful when both options are genuinely suitable for the same concern.
